Norwegian knifemaking, a rich tradition that has been kept alive by many Norwegian smiths and knifemakers, is all the rage in this country. In this course you will work with metal (silver or brass), birch burl, and the finest Italian leather to create a finished "Sunday dress-up knife and sheath." Those with knifemaking experience will have the opportunity to work on more advanced techniques. Gene will provide all of the necessary tools. Experienced knifemakers can explore knife options. There will be a materials fee of $130.
