Hoping to travel to Norway someday? Want to connect with Norwegian friends or family in their native language? We’ve got you covered! Start your Norwegian-language learning or refresh stale language skills this fall with Maren Johnson, Associate Professor of Nordic Studies and Director of the Torgerson Center for Nordic Studies at Luther College. During the eight-week session, we’ll cover the basics of grammar and vocabulary to get you ready to connect with other Norwegian speakers.

The weekly class meetings will happen on Zoom for an active, conversation-based hour. If you like, you’ll get activities to extend your learning between class meetings. There will also be opportunities to connect with Luther College students who will be beginning their study of Norwegian language with you.

One enrollment gets you signed up for all eight Zoom sessions and also includes a class workbook and a study treat. Sundays November 29, December 6, 13, 20, January 3, 10, 17, 24 (week off on Dec 27 to observe the Christmas holiday)

Bli med! (Come join!)

This is one of two Norwegian Language Starter Sessions. See also Norwegian Language Starter Session with Evelyn Galstad on Tuesdays, December 1 - January 26.
