Elevate your cocktail game and learn to mix and serve Scandinavian-inspired cocktails without leaving the comfort of your home! In this class, we'll explore how the guiding principles of the New Nordic Cuisine movement of “purity, simplicity, and freshness.” and can help you create delicious drinks that are both local and seasonal.

Supplies: The cost of the class includes a kit shipped to your home with a Vesterheim-branded glass, woven Swedish towel, jigger, spices, and a special treat (a $30 value). An ingredient list will be included to source materials for your class. Recipes will be shared with participants after the live zoom class. You'll also need a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

Special Instructions: When registering for the class, please make sure to use the address you'd like the kit shipped to, and the email address you'd like the Zoom meeting invitation sent to. You will receive links to the Zoom session by email sometime during the week prior to the class.

About the Instructor

Dylan  Reed-Maxfield 

For most of his adult life, Dylan Reed-Maxfield has worked as a bartender, server, and cook in a variety of establishments, including a recent 3-year stint as the proprietor of his own bar in Decorah, IA. Whether at home or at work, Dylan has a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in what makes a great drink. He lives in Decorah with his wife, Katie, and 3 young children.
