Due to the popularity of this course, we have expanded this into two sections. Both sections will be registered through this link and both sections will cover the same curriculum. Only people on the previous waiting list will be added to this expanded course offering. Your specific time has been communicated to you by the Digital Program Coordinator. The two-section times are both on Sundays. Section 1 is 4:00 - 5:00 PM CT and Section 2 is 5:15 - 6:15 PM CT. Join us for a continuing course in the Norwegian language! We will explore a variety of vocabulary and grammar topics including, but not limited to, what interests us about Norwegian, the various methods we use to learn a language, outdoor life in Norway, and clothing! You need to have completed the Norwegian Language Starter Session in order to enroll in this course. Bli med oss! (Come join us!)
The weekly class meetings will happen on Zoom for an active, conversation-based hour. If you like, you’ll get activities to extend your learning between class meetings.
One enrollment gets you signed up for all eight Zoom sessions on Sundays February 7, 14, 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21, 28.

Supplies: A computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.
Special Instructions: When registering for the class, please make sure to use the address you'd like the workbook shipped to, and the email address you'd like the Zoom meeting invitation sent to. You will receive links to the Zoom sessions by email sometime during the week prior to the first group meeting.

About the Instructor
Dr. Maren Johnson
Dr. Maren Anderson Johnson is assistant professor of Nordic Studies and Director of the Richard L. and Judith A. Torgerson Center for Nordic Studies at Luther College. She teaches courses in Norwegian language and contemporary Nordic culture. Johnson received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Scandinavian language and literature from the University of Washington and B.A. in Norwegian language and literature from Pacific Lutheran University.
