Come build a solid foundation for your chip carving! Learn how to sharpen your knife, explore techniques for removing two-sided and three-corner chips in multiple styles, and apply what you've learned to complete a chip-carved project.
Schedule: The listed class time includes four Zoom sessions on Wednesdays, July 7, 14, 21, & 28, 2021 (6-8:00 pm CT).
Supplies: A complete kit of supplies including a knife, a no-slip mat, a practice board, and a set of four coasters (a $65 value!) shipped to your home is included in the cost of enrollment. You will need a work surface like a sturdy table, good light, and a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

About the Instructor
Marty Leenhouts is a professionally trained teacher with over 30 years of teaching and carving experience and the owner of My Chip Carving and EZcarving. With thousands of members worldwide, Marty‘s video lessons have been viewed over 3 million times in over 150 countries. He is also the author of Chip Carving Essentials, A Step-by-Step Guide to Successful Chip Carving and has taught classes throughout the US and internationally. Marty and his wife also own Red Barn Retreats where he teaches chip carving classes and where quilters, scrapbookers, family groups, weddings, and others gather for various retreat events.
