Learn to make three brunch cocktails featuring a classic Scandinavian spirit, aquavit! We'll make an Aquavit Bloody Mary, a “Norwegian Snow” (a riff on the White Russian using aquavit), and an “Oslo Sunrise” (a fruity tropical aquavit drink). We'll use the principles of New Nordic Cuisine to craft these drinks, focusing on local ingredients and high-quality products sourced from small producers, and learn some basic home cocktail crafting techniques to take your drink-making to the next level. Your friends and family are sure to be impressed the next time you host brunch!
The listed class time includes one Zoom session on Sunday, July 11, 2021 (11:00 AM - Noon CT).
Supplies: A complete kit of supplies (a $30 value!) including a jigger, a bar towel, a Vesterheim branded glass, and coffee beans shipped to your home is included in the cost of enrollment. You will be sent an ingredients list with suggested spirits a week before the class date. You will also need a work surface like a sturdy table, good light, and a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.

Special Instructions: When registering for the class, please make sure to use the address you'd like the kit shipped to, and the email address you'd like the Zoom meeting invitations sent to. About the Instructor
Hannah Garry has worked in the specialty coffee industry for five years, and is currently the assistant bar manager at Impact Coffee in Decorah, Iowa, where she creates the seasonal coffee and cocktail menus. She loves coffee, whisky, and the craft of building a delicious, balanced drink. She is constantly in search of flavor combinations that surprise and delight and loves experimenting with new drink recipes.
