About the Instructor

The Mineck Family

The Mineck Family

Suzanne and Corey Mineck and their daughters, Mari and Bryn live in Waukee, Iowa. Baking Norwegian treats has been a family tradition passed down many generations and a family gathering isn't complete without lefse, kransekake, flat bread, rosettes or kringle.  From the time the girls were little, kringle has been among their favorites!

Learn more: In the article, To Lefse, Lutefisk, and Love, from Vesterheim, Vol. 6, No.1, 2008 – Thought for Food, Suzanne's sister Kirsten Roverud Heine shares the food traditions and stories that have brought their family together for generations.
