Join us for Vesterheim’s Level 3 course in the Norwegian language. We will cover chapters 10-12 of the Sett i gang textbook and will study additional vocabulary, gain a deeper understanding of grammar, and enjoy small group conversations in one-hour weekly Zoom meetings. This course is open to students who have completed Vesterheim’s Level 2 class (Continuing Beginning Norwegian).

The weekly class meetings will happen on Zoom for an active, conversation-based hour. If you like, you’ll get activities to extend your learning between class meetings. One enrollment gets you signed up for all eight Zoom sessions on Tuesdays, October 5 through November 23. Dr. Maren Johnson

Dr. Maren Anderson Johnson is assistant professor of Nordic Studies and Director of the Richard L. and Judith A. Torgerson Center for Nordic Studies at Luther College. She teaches courses in Norwegian language and contemporary Nordic culture. Johnson received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Scandinavian language and literature from the University of Washington and B.A. in Norwegian language and literature from Pacific Lutheran University.
