Siri Bergløff Berrefjord

Siri Bergløff Berrefjord was born in Oslo and grew up in a small, remote community called Hurdal. At the age of 20, Siri started work for antique firms in Norway. Over the next 15 years, she photographed thousands of beautiful objects and learned about Norwegian cultural heritage through firsthand experience. Siri is the mother of bunadsplast, a fusion of different techniques, expressions, and materials. Both the word and the jewelry are a kind of “culture clash” – the traditional bunad (Norwegian traditional costume) merges with the modern and sustainable material of plastic in a colorful and playful jewelry that can be worn for special occasions, everyday use, or simply to show one’s love of Norwegian cultural heritage.
